Wadi Rum Deep Desert Immersion

2 days · 2 nights · fully private · sleep under the stars

This is the opposite of a standard Wadi Rum visit. No crowds, no “must-see” checklist, no busy routes. Instead, we take you deep into the least-visited areas of the desert for true isolation, total immersion, and real disconnection from the modern world.

Over two full days of exploration by 4x4 and short walks, you’ll experience the most powerful side of Wadi Rum: silence, space, solitude - and nights so dark and clear that the sky feels endless.

  • Price: 180 JOD per person
  • Style: private tour (you + your guide only)
  • Nights: 2 nights sleeping in the open air under the stars (different location each night)
  • Meals: all meals included + unlimited bottled water & Bedouin tea

Why this tour is different

Most tours in Wadi Rum focus on famous viewpoints and iconic “sites.” This experience is designed for travelers who want something rarer: deep desert, far from the usual routes, where the landscape feels untouched and time slows down.

Here, the desert is not a backdrop - it’s the main event. We move through remote valleys and wide open plains, stopping when a place feels right: a perfect view, a quiet canyon, a stretch of empty horizon. The goal is simple: immersion, isolation, and silence.

Itinerary (2 days, 2 nights)

Day 1

  • Meet your guide in Wadi Rum Village and begin the journey into remote desert zones.
  • Exploration by 4x4 with short walks to enjoy the landscape up close.
  • Lunch prepared in the desert.
  • Afternoon: deeper into quieter areas, focusing on space, silence, and scenery.
  • At dusk: choose a secluded camp spot for the night.
  • Dinner cooked over the campfire.
  • Night 1: sleep in the open air beneath the stars.

Day 2

  • Breakfast in the desert.
  • Full day of guided exploration in the least-visited parts of Wadi Rum.
  • Lunch prepared in the shade when possible.
  • Slow, flexible route: more remote tracks, short walks, big views, and solitude.
  • Dinner by the fire.
  • Night 2: sleep under the stars in a different location.

Day 3 (morning)

  • Breakfast in the desert.
  • Return to Wadi Rum Village in the morning.

Note: This is an immersion tour, not a checklist. The exact route varies based on season, light, weather, and the best places for solitude that day.

What you’ll experience

  • True disconnection: no schedules, no crowds, no noise—just desert.
  • Silence and space: vast open landscapes with a feeling of being alone in the world.
  • Remote exploration: a mix of 4x4 travel and short walks for perspective and intimacy.
  • Unforgettable light: sunrise, golden afternoons, and deep desert sunsets.
  • Night skies: darkness, stars, and a sense of calm you can’t find in everyday life.

Sleeping under the stars (both nights)

Both nights are spent outside, in different secluded locations, chosen for silence, privacy, and atmosphere. We provide comfortable sleeping mats and warm blankets (season-dependent), and we set up camp in a sheltered spot whenever possible.

If you’ve never slept in the open desert before, this is the highlight: a completely natural night, no walls, no artificial light—just the desert around you and the sky above you.
